Workshop
(15.06.2023)
In-house Initiated
(Ongoing)
At the heart of our mission is the provision of a space for experimentation and alternative learning. We are dedicated to supporting a regular program (see tab) of courses and workshops that cover a diverse range of topics such as riso printing, photo printing, bookbinding, photobook editing, zine making, and more.
Through the dissemination of knowledge and skills, our aim is to inspire a culture of creation and self-publishing, thereby enriching the overall cultural climate.
Our print studio is now an official partner of the National Academy of Arts’ Graphic Arts and Book and Printed Matter departments and act as an extension to their facility base, offering riso courses to its students annually.
We extend an open invitation to everyone interested in printmaking to join us at our studio. Additionally, we offer a regular riso printing induction course that grants participants a membership card. This card enables you to book our studio for independent printing sessions, subject to availability.
As a member, you'll enjoy a 10% discount on all materials and printing services once you commit to attending five or more studio sessions. We also provide individual courses for those seeking specialised instruction. To secure your spot, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via phone or email.
We host a biannual residency program that provides accommodation and workspace for a creative practitioner for up to one month. Our selection process aims to challenge traditional norms by moving away from a criteria framework based solely on past professional accomplishments.
Instead, we believe in empowering artists by allowing them to nominate candidates, fostering an inclusive process that prioritises collaboration and diversity. We place less emphasis on portfolios and CVs, recognizing that these can perpetuate inequalities. Our focus is on building a network rooted in mutual support and solidarity among artists.
We specialise in publishing zines and small artist publications, providing a platform for creative expression and alternative perspectives. Our project, Revisiting Agriculture, is a biannual periodical dedicated to addressing pressing environmental issues, exploring fresh ecological perspectives, and envisioning necessary solutions within the realm of agriculture.
We offer high-quality bespoke printing solutions for the cultural sector. If you want to execute your artistic vision in print or have an exhibition that includes printing production we can consult and print it for you. We also produce zines and independent artistic publications, as well as posters and flyers for cultural events.
In this tab, you can find more practical information about pricing, materials, and preparation of your files.
